Shore temple Mahabalipuram

The Shore Temple at Mahabalipuram. Shore Temples were built on the orders of the Pallava King, Mahendra Verma Pallava. The monuments are mostly rock-cut and monolithic, and constitute the early stages of Dravidian architecture wherein Buddhist elements of design are prominently visible. They are given the listing in World Heritage list.
